“元宵节”用英语怎么说？
元宵节是一年之中的第一个月圆之夜（the first full moon night of the year），
象征和睦团圆，因此对我们来说显得尤为重要。
元宵节重要的传统习俗之一是挂灯笼，故元宵节也有“灯节”之称。
因此外国人根据这一特色，把元宵节称作“灯笼节”即the Lantern Festival。
也可以表达成：Chinese Lantern Festivallantern。
这里的Lantern 就是“灯笼”的意思。

元宵节是一个重要的传统节日，农历正月十五。

元宵庙会（Lantern Festivals temple fair ）总是那么的热闹，有大大小小的表演吸引人群围观。
其中常见的有扭秧歌（yangko/yangge dance）、打太平鼓（beating drums while dancing drum dance）、腰鼓舞（fireworks party）、杂耍（variety show/vaudeville）
当然还有我们最熟悉的舞狮（Lion dance），舞狮传递祝福与好运。
