雅思口语题库分为3大部分，Part 1，Part 2和Part 3。
需要强调一点：P1与P2，P3是无关的，而P3是P2问题的自然展开与深入。在你的雅思口语中，一般会涉及3-5个P1话题，会考察到5-10个P1题目；会涉及到1个P2题目，然后与其相关的3-5个P3题目
Part 2虽然是发挥大家演技的“讲故事”环节，但毕竟这一部分有近50个话题，很有可能到了考场的你大脑一片空白，不记得自己准备的故事，突然无话可说。所以这就需要在平时培养自己用口语进行“描述”的能力，学会发散思维。
比如part 2的每个话题下都会有4个问题，但其实每个问题你都可以用不同的点来回答。如果让你介绍一本书，你可以从书的情节内容、角色、中心思想、启示、作者、写作背景等多个角度来介绍，这样你在长达两分钟的讲故事环节就能一直有东西可说。
现在已经进入10月份了，同学们一定已经看过9-12月份雅思口语的真题了。今天就跟着老师一起看一道Part 2的新题——花费超过预期的物品。
Part 2
Describe an item on which you spent more than expected
You should say:
What it is
How much you spent on it
Why you bought it
And explain why you think you spent more than expected
首先看到part 2这个题目，大家可能会觉得这是一个描述一样东西的题目。然而它确实是描述一个物品的题目，但是重点是spend more than expected。什么叫作花费超过预期，我们需要先明确这个概念。花费这里等同于这样商品的价格（price），而你的预期则指的它对于你的价值（value）。Price和value是两个完全不同的概念，price是客观存在的，统一的（identical），而value相对于每一个消费者则是完全个性化的（unique）。
所以这道问题问的是一个东西对于你来说price>value. 看到这里大家应该明白了，这个问题需要有这样的两项对比在里面，一部分讲price，另一部分讲value，对应到题目中，分别是How much you spent on it和explain why you think you spent more than expected这两个小问题。
雅思口语题目都是非常生活化的，所以回答这个问题，就好像是我们平时吐槽买了个什么东西，很贵，但是它很好（这里一定要有凡尔赛的感觉，把这个东西具体好在哪讲出来）。结合购买这样东西的经历以及心路历程，就可以很好地回答这个问题。下面分享一下我的个人经历：
At a first glance of this topic, it just reminds me of a pair of slippers I bought when I was in college. It was on spring break and I went to Macy’s with my friend, Aaron.
At first we were just looking around. But suddenly we were attracted by a pair of super cool slippers, with different patterns shown on its vamp from different perspectives. From top view, it showed its logo, ‘Maison Margiela’, while it showed number 28 in a circle from side view. At the same time, the vamp was made of nylon, which made it look fashionable.
Then we asked the shop assistant for its price. It was quite a shock to us that the price of the slippers was $400. I could never imagine such a pair of slippers cost $400 because most slippers I bought before were no more than 20 bucks. Although the cool slippers were under a luxurious brand, they seemed to be too expensive to me.
However, Aaron and the shop assistant encouraged me to try it on. So, I took off my shoes and just at the moment I put my feet into the slippers, I felt that they were made for me. I was unable to reject the temptation of the slippers, for its cool appearance and its soft material. ‘Damn, man. You gotta buy this. Or I’ll get it.’ Aaron said so.
There was no time to hesitate and I felt obligated to buy the shoes. Soon after I paid $400 using my credit card, the shop assistant shook his hand with me to show his respect.

大家在回答这类事物类问题的时候也可以用这种分享自己的故事的方式去回答问题，可以让听者更加感同身受，也让你的回答更加言之有物。在考试的时候尽量放松，以聊天的方式回答，亲切的态度也能够在一定程度上加分。
学习的道路还很长，雅思口语真的需要好好准备话题，如果每天至少完成一套Part1-3的练习，相信一定会有质的飞跃，考雅思的过程会让你觉得受益匪浅。
