The Big Balloon 大气球
Pip had a balloon. A balloon of his very own. It was big and red and round, and Pip liked it very much indeed.
皮普有个气球。他自己的气球。它又大又红又圆，皮普非常喜欢它。
Pip took it to show Posy. She thought it was a lovely balloon too. They decided to take it for a walk.
Pip拿去给Posy看，她也觉得这是个非常可爱的气球。他们决定带着气球去散步。
Everyone who looked at the balloon smiled.
每个人看到气球都会开心地笑起来。
But then, by mistake, Pip let the balloon go!
但是，Pip一不小心没抓住气球！
The balloon floated into the air.
气球飞上了天空。
Pip and Posy chased the balloon.
Pip和Posy努力追气球。
But it floated higher...
但是气球越飞越高。
And then, BANG! It popped! Oh dear!
然后，砰！气球爆了！哦，天哪！
Pip was very, very sad that the balloon had burst. He cried… and cried….and cried.
皮普对气球爆炸感到非常非常难过。他哭啊…哭啊…哭。
Poor Pip!
可怜的皮普！
Then Posy had a really good idea.
这时，Posy想了一个好办法.
She said that they should blow bubbles.
她说他们可以玩吹泡泡。
And all the bubbles popped. But Pip and Posy didn mind, because thats what bubbles are supposed to do!
但是Pip和Posy一点也不伤心，因为他们知道这就是泡泡本该有的样子。
Hooray!
