Adverbial clause of time is a clause says when something happens by referring to a period of time, or to another event.

例子：
Example: Her goldfish died when she was young. 她很小的时候她养的金鱼死了。
Example: When you think you know nothing, then you begin to know something. 当你以为自己一无所知的时候，你就开始知道一些事物了。
Example: By the time you come here tomorrow, I will have finished this work. 你明天来这儿的时候，我将完成此工作了。
Example: He was told that it would be at least three more months before he could recover and return to work. 至少还需要三个月他才能康复并返回工作岗位。
Example: Once they had studied the product and the market, they designed a marketing concept. 他们完成对产品和市场的研究之后设计了一个营销理念。
