41. by accident偶然地
用法：by accident通常用来修饰动词，置于句末，类似的词组还有by chance。
例句：The boy found the wounded soldier by accident while playing in the park.
男孩在公园里玩耍时，偶然发现了这位伤员。
结构分析：The boy是主语（the是定冠词，作前置定语，修饰boy）， found是谓语动词， the wounded soldier 是宾语（the和wounded是前置定语），by accident是状语，while playing in the park是时间状语（while+-ing式词组）。
42. by all means尽一切办法
用法：by all means是固定用法，常用来修饰谓语动词，在句中作状语。
例句：The doctor had tried to cure him byall means but failed.
医生想尽了办法来治愈他，但还是失败了。
43. by bike骑自行车
用法：by bike是常见的一个副词短语，在句中作方式状语。类似的短语还有by car， by bus, by taxi。
例句：I would rather go to work by bikethan by bus.
与坐公交车相比，我更喜欢骑自行车上班。
44. by heart凭记忆，记牢
用法：by heart通常与动词learn连用，表示“用心去记忆”。
例句：Fortunately, the man drew a portrait of the murderer by heart.
幸运的是，那人凭记忆画出了凶手的画像。
