动词短语是由动词和介词、副词、名词等构成的，在句中作谓语。
89. know about了解
用法：know about后接宾语，可以是名词或代词。
例句：The students can understand Frantzen’s art without knowing about her life. (托福)
学生们不需要了解费兰岑的生活就能看懂她的艺术作品。
语法结构分析：The students是主语（the是前置定语，修饰students）， can understand是谓语， Frantzen’s art是宾语， without knowing about her是介词词组作状语。
90. land on着陆，降落
用法：land on中的on后通常接表示地点的名词。
例句：Due to the weather, the plane was forced to land on a small town in the south of France.
由于天气原因，飞机被迫降落在法国南部的一个小镇上。
91. laugh at嘲笑
用法：laugh at是一个常用的动词词组，介词at后面通常接表示人的名词或者代词，表示“嘲笑某人”，相当于make fun of sb.等。
例句：Benjamin’s idea was firstlaughted at. (12月四级)

语法点：该例句是一般过去时的被动语态，其结构为“was/were+过去分词”。
