锚泊设备供船舶抛锚停泊用的设备，包括锚、锚链等锚具和锚的收放设备。锚在抛入水中后能啮入底土产生抓力，通过锚链而使船停泊在某一水域。锚的种类很多，目前使用最广的为无杆锚。锚链是连接锚和船体的链条，由许多个链环连接而成，大小以链径表示。根据链环中间有无撑档，分有档锚链和无档锚链。锚链可用锻造、铸造和焊接等法制成。大链径锚链过去都是铸造的，近年已逐渐改用焊接制造。船用锚链由若干"节"组成，每节长25.0～27.5米，节与节之间用连接链环或连接卸扣相连。不用锚时，锚链贮存在船首部的锚链舱中。锚和锚链的规格按照船舶建造规范计算确定。其他锚具有：穿连甲板和外板、供锚链通过的锚链筒，抛锚后将锚链止住、以免起锚机受力的止链器等。锚的收放设备主要有起锚机和起锚绞盘，安装在船头甲板上。它由链轮、绞缆滚筒、离合器、减速箱和驱动电机等组成。新型船有用液压驱动代替电机驱动的。
