丝锥的表面处理－氧化处理1、氧化处理氧化处理就是把高速钢丝维放入500-550℃的水蒸气中，使其表面形成Fe3O4被膜的一种表面处理方法，氧化处理法也叫高压蒸气处理法。 铁的氧化物有FeO.Fe2O3.Fe3O4三种，其中FeO只能在570℃以上才能生成，所以它在高速钢丝锥的表面处理层中不存在，丝锥表层中有Fe3O4（黑铁）和Fe2O3（红铁）两种，而后者对丝锥的切削性都没有益处，经过高质量地表面处理后，丝锥的处理层为Fe3O4被膜，装面美观，呈蓝黑色，表层厚度为1-3um.1-1特点氧化处理之所以能提高丝锥的性能是因为:表面层为多孔质，对冷却液吸附性好，能起到减小磨擦的作用。 能防止丝锥与被切削材料间的粘结。 除去了制作丝锥时残留在其表面的磨削应力。 但需注意的是，氧化处理所生成的被膜并不能提高丝锥表面层的硬度，所以，被膜本身并没有耐磨性。 1-2 适用范围 经氧化处理的丝锥对不锈钢、铸钢、碳索钢（S35C以下），镍钢、铬钢等易产生粘结的被切削材料效果很好，几乎可适用于所有钢件的加工。 但应注意的是氧化处理对铝合金，压铸铝合金，黄铜等非金属类材料并没有什么效果，甚至有可能降低丝锥的切削性能。 氧化处理广泛用于各种类型的丝锥（请参看前面的OSG丝锥介绍）。1-3 切削性能当用刃倾角丝锥加工易产生粘结的不锈钢（奥氏体系）工件时，氧化处理能提高的丝锥寿命10倍以上，从普通丝锥加工碳素钢的实验例中也可看出，氧化处理显著地提高了丝锥寿命。
