轻集料混凝土用轻集料配制成的、容重不大于1900公斤/米3的轻混凝土,也称多孔集料轻混凝土。轻集料混凝土按轻集料的种类分为:①天然轻集料混凝土。如浮石混凝土、火山渣混凝土和多孔凝灰岩混凝土等。②人造轻集料混凝土。如粘土陶粒混凝土、页岩陶粒混凝土以及膨胀珍珠岩混凝土和用有机轻集料制成的混凝土等。③工业废料轻集料混凝土。如煤渣混凝土、粉煤灰陶粒混凝土和膨胀矿渣珠混凝土等。按细集料种类分为:①全轻混凝土。采用轻砂做细集料的轻集料混凝土。②砂轻混凝土。部分或全部采用普通砂作细集料的轻集料混凝土。按其用途分为:①保温轻集料混凝土。其容重小于800公斤/米3,抗压强度小于5.0兆帕,主要用于保温的围护结构和热工构筑物。②结构保温轻集料混凝土。其容重为800~1400公斤/米3,抗压强度为5.0~20.0兆帕,主要用于配筋和不配筋的围护结构。③结构轻集料混凝土。其容重为1400~1900公斤/米3,抗压强度为15.0~50.0兆帕,主要用于承重的构件、预应力构件或构筑物。轻集料混凝土具有自重轻、保温隔热和耐火性能好等特点。结构轻集料混凝土的抗压强度最高可达70兆帕,与同标号的普通混凝土相比,可减轻自重20~30%以上,结构保温轻集料混凝土是一种保温性能良好的墙体材料,其热导率为0.233~0.523瓦/(米·开),仅为普通混凝土的12~33%。轻集料混凝土的变形性能良好,弹性模量较低。在一般情况下,收缩和徐变也较大。轻集料混凝土的弹性模量与其容重和强度成正比。容重越小、强度越低,弹性模量也越低。与同标号的普通混凝土相比,轻集料混凝土的弹性模量约低25~65%。轻集料混凝土大量应用于工业与民用建筑及其他工程,可收到减轻结构自重;提高结构的抗震性能;节约材料用量;提高构件运输和吊装效率;减少地基荷载及改善建筑功能(保温隔热和耐火等)等效益。因此,在20世纪60~70年代,轻集料混凝土的生产和应用技术发展较快,主要向轻质、高强的方向发展,大量应用于高层、大跨度结构和围护结构,特别是大量用于制作墙体用的小型空心砌块。中国从50年代开始研制轻集料及轻集料混凝土,主要用于工业与民用建筑的大型外墙板和小型空心砌块,少量用于高层和桥梁建筑的承重结构和热工构筑物。参考书目中国建筑科学研究院混凝土研究所等译:《国外轻骨料混凝土应用》,中国建筑工业出版社,北京,1982。
