明·李沧溟《草堂诗馀隽》：「千里烟波」，惜别之情已骋；「千种风情」，相期之愿又赊。真所谓善传神者。清·贺黄公《皱水轩词筌》：柳屯田「今宵酒醒何处？杨柳岸，晓风残月」，自是古今俊句。清·周止菴《宋四家词选》：清真词多从耆卿夺胎，思力沉挚处，往往出蓝。然耆卿秀淡幽艳，是不可及。清·沈偶僧《古今词话·词话上卷》引俞文蔚《吹剑录》：东坡在玉堂日，有幕士善歌，因问：「我词何如柳七？」对曰：「柳郎中词，衹合十七八女郎，执红牙板，歌『杨柳岸、晓风残月』。学士词，须关西大汉、铜琵琶、铁绰板，唱『大江东去』。」东坡为之绝倒。
