晴空艳阳、秋爽宜人，新学年来临。8月21日-28日，北京二中国际部高一年级新同学整齐集结、精神抖擞，积极为高中学习生活做好准备。
同学们参加了北京二中新生入学培训，与校本部的高一新同学们一道，认真聆听了学校组织的各项专题讲座，在“立德树人”思想的指导下，在北京二中“空气养人”的治学氛围中，以“敬业乐群”的校训指导自身，在《北京二中学子励志铭》的朗朗诵读和校歌吟唱中，立志做优秀二中人。
在喜迎建国70周年的伟大日子里，同学们深深鼓舞于中华人民共和国成立七十年来的璀璨峥嵘，积极发扬革命先辈优良传统，弘扬爱国主义精神，在北京二中新生军训活动中，认真投入，斗志昂扬，烈日未能消磨意志，毅力锻造出了优良作风，为做英姿勃发的中国人而骄傲和自豪。
同学们通过学习国防知识、红十字急救知识及消防安全知识，拓展了全局视野，增强了安全意识，掌握了必备技能，锻炼了生存本领。

Senior One students from the International Division of BJ No.2 Middle School took part in the orientation training and got ready for their new life in senior high in August, .
Students attended the lectures delivered by teachers, experts, and professionals from different areas. They learned the regulations and rules of being good-mannered students in senior high school, and understood the educational concept and the motto of BJ No.2 Middle School, which encouragethem to cherish and enjoy their school life and be proud of studying at BJ No.2 Middle School.Inspired by the 70th anniversary of the foundationof People"s Republic of China, students feel proud of being Chinese and areeager to strive to become better and stronger. Students participated in the military training, which cultivated their perseverance and strong will of being well disciplined individuals and developed their strong sense of collective honor.
Through the training, the students have built more confidence and are ready for the coming senior high life.
