最近，《中国诗词大会》第四季完美收官，收视数据仅次于《新闻联播》和天气预报，再一次彰显了它播一季火一季的魅力，在全国范围内又一次掀起全民读诗热。
连续参加了四季《中国诗词大会》的北大博士生陈更终于拿到了冠军的奖杯，但她的目标不是冠军，而是将中国传统文化传播出去“如果我能在传播传统文化的道路上多做了那么一点点事，让更多人看到中国古典诗词的美好，我觉得都是值得的。”
古诗词是中国的文化瑰宝，在全球化的今天，如何尽可能完整地把这份瑰宝的美分享出去就是很多翻译大师呕心沥血在做的事。当诗词遇上英文，会碰撞出怎样的火花？

古诗翻译成英文，常常被人吐槽“失去了韵味”，但让传统文化走出国门，翻译是必经之路。
早在1972年美国总统尼克松访华，在祝酒词的最后就引用了“So many deeds cry out to be done，and always urgently；the world rolls on，time presses。Ten thousand years are too long；seize the day，seize the hour！（多少事，从来急；天地转，光阴迫。一万年太久，只争朝夕）” 表达他希望中美邦交正常化的迫切心情。
