用法：drop out of后通常接表示学校的名词。
例句：The poor kid had to drop out of school because he couldn’t afford the tuition.
这个可怜的孩子因为付不起学费不得不退学。
结构分析：The poor kid是主语， had to drop out of 是谓语，school是宾语， because引导原因状语从句， he是主语， couldn’t afford是谓语， the tuition是宾语。
194. dry off使变干
用法：dry off的宾语成分可以位于off前，也可以位于其后。
例句：If you don’t dry off your hair before going to bed, you may geta headache.
如果你在睡觉前不把头发弄干，你可能会头疼。
语法点：例句用了条件状语从句，在条件状语从句中，从句通常用一般现在时表一般将来时，一般过去时表过去将来时。

用法：dry up在句中通常用作独立的谓语成分，不接宾语。
