动词短语是由动词和介词、副词、名词等构成的，在句中作谓语。
53. die from死于
用法：diefrom通常是死于外因，如伤痛、暴力、事故等；die of则死于内因，如疾病、饥饿、悲伤、寒冷、年老等。
例句：Almost half of the villagers died from that incident.
几乎一半的村民死于那场事故。
语法结构分析：Almost half of the villagers是主语， died是谓语，过去式， from that incident是介词词组作状语。
54. dispose of处理掉，解决
用法：dispose of在句中可用作单独的谓语。
例句：They have begun to dispose of the serious medical dispute.
他们已经开始处理这起严重的医疗纠纷案件了。
55. draw up起草，制定
用法：draw up一般在句中作单独的谓语成分。
例句：I still remember the famous economist who drew up the agreement.
我还记得起草那份协议的正是很有名的经济学家。
语法点：who一般引导定语从句，还可以用在特殊疑问句中。
56. dream of渴望，向往
用法：dream of后一般接名词或者动名词。
例句：At the end of last century, people began to dream of urban life.
上世纪末期，人们开始向往都市生活。
