size不仅可以指衣服鞋子的大小，还可以指很多具体事物的“尺寸”，例如：家具、房子、电视都是按size卖的；买戒指也得看好size；生日蛋糕和披萨也是size越大越贵；女生的三围也可以用size；照片大小、球场大小也要看size。
size除了可以指实物的大小、尺寸，它还能表达问题的“严重性”、任务的“艰巨性”……（是不是感觉size能上天？！）例如：

这组词都有“工资、收入”的意思，其区别是：
fee指提供某种服务收取的固定费用；
earnings多指通过劳动或投资等手段所得到的收入；
wage多用复数形式，指按小时、日或星期的报酬，通常指体力劳动者的工资；
allowance指收入中的补贴部分；
income与earnings含义很相近，但前者强调总收入；
pay是个通用词，可取代salary与wage；
salary指按年定下，按月或星期平均给予的报酬，指脑力劳动者的薪水。
