动词短语是由动词和介词、副词、名词等构成的，在句中作谓语。
329.tick off用记号勾出
用法：tick off与make a mark同义，有时可以互换；也可以表示“列举，（英语口语）责备”。
例句：You should tick offthe sentences you don’t understand in the beginning.
你应该在开始的时候标出不懂的句子。
结构分析：You是主语，should tick off是谓语(情态动词should+动词词组tick off)，the sentences是宾语，you don’t understand是定语从句，in the beginning是状语。
330.try on试穿
用法：try on后经常接表示衣服的名词，如果后接宾语是人称代词，必须为宾格形式。
例句：For most of my childhood, we couldn’t eat in restaurants or sleep in hotels, we couldn’t use certain bathrooms or try on clothes in stores. (12月四级)
在我大部分的童年时间里，我们无法在餐馆里用餐或者在酒店里睡觉，我们不能使用某些特定的浴室或者在店铺里试穿衣服。
331.try out试验，尝试
用法：try out可以直接接宾语，也可以用于try sth out结构中。
例句：The man should try out some new recipes.
这个人应该尝试一些新方法。
332.turn out关灯，熄灯，结果是
用法：turn out是终止性动词词组，表示主语已经终止动作。
例句：Some data may turn outto be outdated.
有些数据可能已经过时了。
语法点：例句是主系表结构，turn out是系动词词组。
